Abstract: Two Cassidinae species known from Socotra Island are discussed. Cassida
rothschildi Spaeth, 1922 is redescribed, and its last instar larva is described
for the first time. Lycium socotranum Wagn. & Vierh. and L. shawii Roem.
& Schult. (Solanaceae) are the first host records for this species. Record
of Oxylepus deflexicollis (Boheman, 1862) from Socotra is based on misidentified
specimen of Oxylepus kossmati Spaeth, 1901.
