Abstract: A new substitute name, Kmentophylus nom. nov., is proposed for the recently
described plant bug genus Aplagiognathus Duwal, Yasunaga & Lee, 2010
(Miridae: Phylinae: Phylini) that is preoccupied by the genus group name,
Aplagiognathus Thomson, 1860 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). Accordingly, a new
combination, Kmentophylus albopilosus (Duwal, Yasunaga & Lee, 2010) comb.
nov., is established.
