Abstract: Type specimens from the collection of beetles (Coleoptera) deposited in the
Department of Entomology, National Museum, Prague, are currently being
catalogued. In this fourth part of the catalogue dealing with the Scarabaeoidea,
we present precise information for types of 47 taxa of the tribe Ateuchini and
62 taxa of the tribe Canthonini. Nomenclature and current status of the taxon
originally described as Canthon latipes ab. viridans Balthasar, 1939 is
discussed.
