Cornutidrymus, an interesting new genus of Papuan Drymini (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Rhyparochromidae)

Abstract: Cornutidrymus gen. nov. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Lygaeoidea: Rhyparochromidae:
Rhyparochrominae: Drymini) is described from New Guinea with four new species
(C. elongatus sp. nov. [type species], C. acutus sp. nov., C. gibbosus sp. nov.
and C. latus sp. nov.). The systematic placement and the relationships with the
similar genera are discussed. An identification key for the species of the new
genus is provided.
