Abstract: Three new species of Anasa Amyot & Serville, 1843 (Coreidae: Coreinae:
Coreini), A. cotopaxiana sp. nov., A. crinita sp. nov., and A. humerata sp.
nov., from Ecuador are described and illustrated in dorsal and some in ventral
view. The new species are distinguished by a combination of colouration patterns
and certain morphological traits, such as the shape of the pronotum and the
posteroventral edge of the male genital capsule, as well as the armature of the
antenniferous tubercles and femora. Drawings of the male genital capsules and a
revised key for the sixteen known species of Anasa from Ecuador are also
provided.
