Ježek J.Redescriptions of nine common Palaearctic and holarctic species of Psychodini End. (Diptera: Psychodidae)Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae 43: 33-83Abstract: 9 species of the tribe Psychodini End. are redescribed in this paper. Heteroptera: RhopalidaeActa Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae 43: 85-100Abstract: The fauna of Rhopalidae occurring in Iran consists, for the time being, of 25 species, predominantly of Palaearctic distribution; in the present paper three species are recorded from Iran for the first time and three another species are given the first exact localies.

Ježek J.Contributtion to the taxonomy of some genera of paramormiine moth flies (Diptera, Psychodidae) with description of a new genus KarakovounimerusActa Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae 43: 129-157Abstract: Inter-generic relationships of 11 genera of Paramormiine moth flies are demonstrated by a dendrograin on the basis of both plesiomorphous and synapomorphous characters; the validity of taxon Lepiseodina End., Iranotelmatoscopus Jez., as well as Karakovounimerus gen. n., which is described here, are proved. Following redescriptions of species are presented: Paramormia (s. str.) polyascoidea (Krek) - new to Austria and U.S.S.R. (Abkhazia), P. [Duckhousiella] ustulata (Walker) - new to Iran, Karakovounimerus sarai (Salamanna) comb. n. – new to Greece and Lepiseodina tristis (Meigen). Distinguishing notes, occurence, distribution and extents of studied taxons are added and all important diagnostic characters are figured. Several new additional combinations of generic and specific names are referred: Paramormia (Duokhoustella) corniculata (Vaillant) comb. n. and P. (D.) furcata (Kincaid) comb. n. from America, Lepiseotiina latipennts (Sara) comb. n. and L. rotttschildi (Eaton) comb. n. from Europe.
Majer K.Results of the Czechoslovak-Iranian entomological expeditions to Iran 1970, 1973 and 1977, together with results of collections made in Anatolia. Coleoptera, Melyridae: Part I (Prionocerinae)Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae 43: 159-162Abstract: Lobonyx thoracicus sp. n. is described and illustrated. The family Melyridae is compared with other coleopteran families, one of the ill-know froups. As regards the Iranian fauna, there are only a few known species described mostly in the nineteenth century. These facts as well as the appreciable collectors´activity of the members step in the knowledge of the family Melyridae.

The synonymy of Brunnicophilus with Acanosema Kieffer is confirmed. The new genus and species Psilommacra oligomera is described. The following specific names are considered synonyms: Psilomma crassicornis Kieffer, Psilomma flavipes Kieffer and Psilomma atriceps of Psilomma dubia Kieffer, Psiloma nigra Kieffer of Psilomma fusciscapis Foerster; Acanopsilus clavatus Kieffer and Psilomma radiata Kieffer of Acanopsilus heterocerus (Haliday); Psilomma caudata Cameron, Acanosema alpestre Kieffer, Acanosema reitteri Kieffer, Acanosema brevipenne Kieffer, Acanopsilus arcuatus Kieffer, Acanopsilus laticeps Kieffer, Aclisia curvinervis Kieffer of Acanosema nervosum Thomson; Brunnicophilus donisthorpei Nixon of Acanosema rufum Kieffer. The following junior specific synonyma were substituted by valid senior ones as: Psilomma nigra Kieffer by Psilomma fusciscapis Foerster; Psilomma atriceps Kieffer, by Nixon misinterpreted, replaced by valid Psilomma fuscicornis Kieffer.
